Roberto Di Matteo is now a leading contender for the Chelsea manager’s job, according to the Daily Mail.Could Di Matteo yet land the Chelsea job this summer? The paper suggest that club owner Roman Abramovich is considering giving him the role on a full-time basis at the end of the season.Meanwhile, Salomon Kalou says he was frozen out by former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas because he did not sign a new contract.Kalou, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, said: “I was told by the previous manager that I was not allowed to play because I didn’t sign a contract.“Maybe he was building a new team and thinking I wasn’t part of the future. That was a really big frustration and it has been a difficult season for me not being involved.”Adel Taarabt has blasted his QPR team-mates for their poor discipline, according to The Sun.Picking up on recent comments made by Taarabt, it is suggested that he has told Clint Hill, Armand Traore, Joey Barton and Samba Diakite – who have all been sent off this season – that they have cost Rangers points in their battle to stay up.“We have performed well at home but lost so many points because of red cards,” he said.“We’ve lost so many games, like Norwich and Wolves. We should have won those games but with 10 men it’s difficult.”The Sun also report that striker Pavel Pogrebnyak is keen to extend his stay at Fulham despite interest from Aston Villa. The Russian, whose short-term deal expires at the end of the season, said: “I need a coach like [Martin] Jol and would love to stay in England and continue to work with him.”And after Bobby Zamora’s agent told West London Sport the striker is not looking for a move away from QPR, the Daily Mail say the player will not be rejoining West Ham, who were apparently keen to sign him.Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebook
4 April 2016South Africa’s hydrogen fuel cell industry received a boost on 31 March with the unveiling of a prototype hydrogen fuel cell forklift and refuelling station at Impala Refining Services in Springs, east of Joburg.Over the past three years, Impala Platinum Holdings (Implats) has provided HySA Systems with funds of R6-million to enable the prototype development. Implats plans to use hydrogen fuel cell technology as its main source of energy for material handling and underground mining equipment.Impala Refining Services is a unit of Implats, one of the world’s foremost producers of platinum and associated platinum group metals. The refining services unit was created in July 1998 as a dedicated vehicle to house the toll refining and metal concentrate purchases built up by Implats.Speaking at the event, Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor said fuel cell technologies had the potential to provide access to affordable, safe, clean and reliable energy, which was necessary for broad-based economic development and growth in the country.“While the fuel cell market is still in its infancy in South Africa, recent developments indicate a growing appetite for the technology,” Pandor said.Min Pandor, said fuel cell technologies had th potential 2 provide access 2 affordable, safe, clean &reliable energy pic.twitter.com/n6ERkbeYZj— SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (@dstgovza) March 31, 2016Starting smallThe minister said South Africa had started to make a number of bold moves that could see it “leapfrog into the leading countries in hydrogen fuel cell technology installations” in the short to medium term.“That’s what we are here to make. A bold move. A forklift may appear to be a small move. But great industries have developed from small moves.”The metal hydride containers feed the fuel tank with hydrogen required to drive the forklift – similar to petrol or diesel in a motor vehicle (Image: Implats Forklift factsheet)Collaborative effortThe minister said industry collaborations were critical in taking research outputs from the laboratory to the market.“To promote further deployment of hydrogen fuel cell technologies, especially in the lucrative automotive sector, public-private partnerships are required to put in place the requisite infrastructure,” Pandor said. The prototype is a collaborative effort between the Department of Science and Technology through the HySA Systems Centre of Competence based at the University of the Western Cape and Implats, through its Impala Refineries in Springs.HySA Systems is one of three centres of competence established by the Department of Science and Technology under the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Research, Development, and Innovation Strategy. It was established to use local resources to develop high-value commercial activities in hydrogen fuel cell technologies. The ultimate goal of the HySA Strategy is to enable South Africa to supply 25% of global platinum group metal-based catalyst demand by 2020.Benefits and challenges“Developing a viable fuel cell industry in South Africa has several advantages for the country, such as economic development, sustainable job creation and social good,” said Implats chief executive Terence Goodlace. “As the world’s largest platinum-supplying region there is a guaranteed supply of the metal as well as the potential increase in global platinum demand.Goodlace said this type of technology gave South Africa a chance to reduce its contribution to greenhouse gas emissions and reduce urban pollutants, which could help to lessen health care costs and lead to an improved quality of life. The benefits of the metal hydride technology include:Longer operational times between refuelling, contributing to a significant increase in productivity; and,The onboard metal hydride storage allows the forklift to operate at a low pressure (180 bar), which increases safety.#FuelCell technology will reduce ventilation requirements, lower heat, noise levels, as well as noxious emissions in underground operations— Implats (@Implats) March 31, 2016There are hurdles that must still be overcome, however. “The limited availability of refuelling infrastructure, coupled with the challenge of finding the most appropriate on-board hydrogen storage technology, remains a big challenge,” said Dr Cordellia Sita, the director of HySA Systems. She addressed both challenges through the use of a novel metal hydride material for both hydrogen compression and storage.More information on the forklift is available on the factsheet.Source: Department of Science and Technology
Fast delivery and fantastic excellent hair. Speedy shipping and excellent good quality hair . Certainly be acquiring alot from right here. I am a hairdresser with my very own salon and advocate these hair extensions.Daughter enjoys this and has been genuinely excellent to her hair, not like other pretend hair.Style 16” 18” 20” 22” 24” 26” Easy Loops Micro Rings Beads Tipped 100% Real Human Hair Extensions Straight Hair 8 Colors Beauty Design Salon (16inch 40g for 100s one pake, 04 medium brown)100% Real remy human hair.Loops Micro Rings beads tipped hairCan be washed, heat styled.but pls Maintain it Carefully0.5g/strand, and 100 strands 50g.Weight decides the thickness. My normal hair won’t achieve my shoulders.Hair is excellent top quality and keeps perfectly if managed correctly. Fab services from the organization, would definitely reccomend.Third time i have acquired them and i really like them. Everyone saying they’re also this is for the reason that they are . 5g for each strand and only one hundred rings which is only half a head. If you want thick hair possibly buy 2-3 packets or locate kinds that are 1g for every strand.Style 16” 18” 20” 22” 24” 26” Easy Loops Micro Rings Beads Tipped 100% Real Human Hair Extensions Straight Hair 8 Colors Beauty Design Salon (16inch 40g for 100s one pake, 04 medium brown) : Perfect match to my hair colour, delivered on the first day that it was expected, easy to apply to the hair, almost effortless, silkiest hair extensions i have ever had, very good product, price and service, i will be 100% purchasing from here in the future. And i also cut them to my hair length. So comfortable to wear, feels natural. Great size excellent issue hair feels silky clean straightens easy with straightener and easy to style my only criticism is that about 8-10 broke and the strands are slender so if you have thick hair you will want all around 3-four packs.Excellent thank you labored much better than i thoughtthey would. Little bit tough to pull hsir by loop but when in stayed in.Purchased these as rankings ended up decent. Id no challenge acquiring these in and out, quality was excellent as well, genuinely gentle. Didnt eliminate any more strands then generally. Only grievance was they conveniently knotted but when going to bed i only platted them.Fantastic products precisely has explained. The hair exstentions was shipped on time. I myself purchased two packets but if your wanting for a fuller thick seem you perhaps might need 3-four packets the hair is pretty thin . Although the hair itself was in superior ailment. I did come across that as explained in prior critiques a several hair exstentions as close to 8-10 strands broke although they was currently being used both the strand fell via the ring or the plastic which will help pull the pure hair into the ring would snap. I personally assume if you want to use the hair for a small term detail like a bash or an celebration or even for a thirty day period you can get away with it but as for prolonged expression put on no. Fantastic merchandise have not set them in yet but feel and look incredible plus these kinds of a attractive woman sorts every little thing out will most unquestionably buy from her yet again a+++++++++.By no means been happier with extensions specifically for the price tag i payed. Thrilled to bits with these. I not only fitted them myself in excess of 24 hrs ago and the have not slipped at all, but i also dyed them first. (they took the colour correctly. ) indeed they are slim but if your wanting 26 inch ones and you normal hair is not alraedy all around 24 inches then it goes without the need of stating they wont look proper. You have to have to insert unique lengths. Hardly ever been happier with extensions specially for the rate i payed. These have been good, just failed to realise the hair can in diverse weights so very skinny.I bought two hundred to lengthen out my pixie. I bought 200 to lengthen out my pixie cutt and i’ve experienced them in a month now (i put them in and adjust myself) despite the fact that only problem is you have to condition them like nobodies enterprise.Speedy delivery and charming hair even ordered additional ?.Extremely pleased with this hair and darkish brown wonderful color. Fab hair , fab delivery and will be buying again shortly, my hairdresser commented fantastic high quality hair and even improved than envisioned right after studying combined opinions.I have just began accomplishing my personal micro loop extentions so i am always on the lookout for a fantastic deal and excellent hair. I made the decision to go for 22′ just to see how it seems to be and i couldn’t be happier with these. I often dye extentions to match my hair, right after dying these they are not frayed or shed high quality like a whole lot of extentions. Lovely thick superior looking hair i am in really like. 1 packet finished my entire head as i have naturally skinny hair.Wonderful extensions match correctly nicely well worth the income would certainly fork out once again.
Pulp-Based Computing: While there’s little information on these projects just yet, one thing is clear. The folks in MIT’s Media Lab Fluid Interfaces Group are exploring electrically active inks and fibers during the paper making process to create a new form of paper-based computing. Apparently the paper would react in the same way as regular paper; however, it would also carry digital information. While the project is only in its early stages and appears to be hooked up to a basic Arduino prototyping platform, theoretically this could be used to create a new type of Wacom tablet. Remember when Steven Levy wrote about losing his Macbook Air? A paper interface would take some serious getting used to. Siftables: Created by David Merrill and Jeevan Kalanithi, Siftables is a series of blocks that contain built-in motion sensors, graphical displays and wireless communication. The blocks can be programmed to interact with digital information and media to form a collective interface. Siftables have been used to create art displays, painting tools, calculators, games and even a music sequencer. Bug Labs also offers a similar open source block system for modular device interfaces. Top Reasons to Go With Managed WordPress Hosting Perceptive Pixel Multi-Touch Wall (Jeff Han’s new project) and Microsoft Surface: In the world of alternative interfaces, these two workstations are extremely well known. Certainly not the inexpensive, mainstream touch interfaces we’d hoped for, their size and price makes them unobtainable to the average user. However, for commercial uses, they’ve certainly got that wow factor. The products are used for story boarding, geo-spatial command, broadcast media, museum exhibits, hotels and Surface is even in Disneyland’s tomorrow land. In other words, Harrison’s interface uses scratches to communicate with his machine. By taping a modified stethoscope to a wall, Harrison got users to perform six scratch input gestures at about 90% accuracy with less than 5 minutes of training. If Scratch Input were utilized by a mobile manufacturer, a phone owner could simply rest their device on a table top and use it to scribble out messages.
